- Each subject is issued a single credential unique identifier of the form {first initial}{last name}{sequentially assigned number}, e.g. hhusker2. This identifier is unique and is not reused once accounts are disabled.
- Subjects are only issued a single credential unique identifier.
- The IdM system is the authoritative source for creation of credential unique identifiers.
Note: When an individual has changed their legal name and requests an identifier change, it is possible that the InCommon SP will need to establish a new relationship with the individual.
